The phytokeratine, a hydrolysed wheat protein, is composed of keratin amino acids similar to those naturally contained in hair and nails. This active ingredient increases the rate of amino acids naturally contained in the hair, bringing them strength, vigor and protecting them from dehydration. Contrary to the proteins and polypeptides generally used, the phytokeratine does not form a greasy film on the hair and does not weigh it down.
